The Hope Center’s Women’s Recovery Program provides a safe, structured, and supportive environment for women in Lexington, KY who are working to overcome addiction. Rooted in trauma-informed care and gender-specific supports, the program offers women the tools they need to achieve sobriety, rebuild their lives, and create a path toward independence.
About the Program
Since 2002, the Ball-Quantrell Jones Recovery Center for Women has served as the home of the Hope Center’s women’s recovery program. Modeled after our men’s program and built on the Recovery Dynamics curriculum, it is both peer-driven and professionally supervised.
Women in the program benefit from a community of mutual accountability and personal responsibility, where recovery is supported at every step.
Safe Off the Streets
For many women, the first step into recovery begins with Safe Off the Streets, our non-judgmental entry point. Here, women can find immediate safety, stability, and support in a drug- and alcohol-free environment. From this foundation, they are introduced to recovery resources and prepared to begin the structured program.
Gender-Specific Features
We recognize that women face unique challenges in recovery. Our program integrates trauma-informed care and addresses the underlying experiences that often accompany addiction.
Specialized services include:
- Trauma support and mental health care
- Parenting education and family resources
- Employment readiness and life skills training
These tailored supports ensure women not only gain sobriety but also strengthen their ability to rebuild healthy relationships and stable futures.
Facilities & Safe Environment
The Ball-Quantrell Jones Recovery Center provides women with a secure and welcoming residential setting where they can focus on healing. The facility offers a supportive community that emphasizes dignity, respect, and safety, helping women move forward without fear of judgment.
Path to Independence
Recovery is about more than overcoming addiction — it’s about creating a foundation for the future. Through skill-building, education, and employment opportunities, participants gain the tools they need to secure stable housing, find meaningful work, and live independently.
Our program aims to transform not only the lives of women but also their families and, in turn, the broader community.
