Tempered Pride
We're proud of the good work that goes on at the Hope Center: feeding the hungry, clothing the needy and sheltering the homeless.
But our pride is tempered. The generous spirit of our donors is humbling.
There is a special bond between the Hope Center and its supporters. There are people who have given regularly for years and others who have given when they can. We have givers of modest means and givers with much to share. Each is generous in his or her own way.
Many of our supporters have chosen to remember the Hope Center in their wills. For some it is a way to give in a measure beyond what they could otherwise contemplate. For others, it is a way to share the good fortune they have known in life.
Sometimes these gifts come from people with no history of giving to the Hope Center. Somehow, they knew of the work that is done here, work that saves lives and rescues vulnerable people from the brink of disaster.
Other times, these gifts come from our regular donors. They have proven their loyalty to our work in the past and decide to make one last gesture of support.
However these gifts come, they are crucial to the Hope Center. Such commitment and generosity can only inspire us.
Seeds of Hope Society is a group of generous individuals who are helping to ensure the Hope Center’s future.
Donors to Seeds of Hope receive a remembrance from the Hope Center, invitations to special events and mailings of our bi-monthly newsletter.

You can plant a seed of Hope through:

You can name the Hope Center as the direct beneficiary of a specific sum of money, a particular parcel of real estate or of a stated percentage of your estate.
Residuary Bequest
After making specific bequests to family or friends, you can name the Hope Center to receive all or part of the remaining amount - the residue.
Contingent Bequest
To provide for the situation when named individuals in your will do not survive you, you can name the Hope Center as contingent beneficiary.
Life Income Gift
If you decide to irrevocably transfer an asset or assets to the Hope Center, you (and, if you wish, a survivor) can receive income for life.
Life Insurance
If the circumstances under which you purchased your life insurance have changed, you may wish to donate your policy to the Hope Center or make the Hope Center your beneficiary.
